Learn Digital Photography – take a picture great each time

Do you think that each time you press the shutter button you can pick up a large image? Your answer is probably not, but, mine is Yes. If you're prepared to put into practice only a few simple keys that will help you to learn digital photography correctly, you can always do it. Here's how.

In my personal photographic journey as I started to learn digital photography, I suffered from digital disease which is to shoot as much as possible, as quickly as possible in the hope some good images. It does not work. Itchy trigger fingers are for cowboy movies and not photography. If you can pass this barrier are a step towards achieving success. Let me show you how to take a great picture at a time.

1. think before your shot

Digital photography has created a generation of photographers thoughtless. Why? Because it is so cheap, after the initial investment, with the lack of development costs and print of the film. In the good old days each time you clicked the shutter dollar signs registered in your brain. Before press the button, so think. This is the image that you want? Here are all the elements for a good image?

2. focus on your subject

Don't even think of pressing the shutter button before you chose your subject and made the focal point of the image. If the subject clearly not scream that is the subject, then it is not and cannot take the picture. As you learn digital photography, this is the most important part of the composition.

3. Keep it simple

Much of the image is as bad as any matter or focal point. Delete both the garbage into a possible image; all the extra stuff that is not needed and adds nothing of importance to the image. Less is more like the old adage. A simple subject or object in an organized background will make a picture more enjoyable than one with many distractions.

4. Get in closer

This is especially true for pictures of people. The memories that you are creating the future need memorable so get in closer to see more of the person. One of my favorite images of all time is one of my grandmother, who died many years ago. It's just your face with all the wrinkles and lines of wisdom. Features that she was and how I remembered it. I have others, but they do not mean just as much as the close-up.

5. Change your angle.

A small change of position often will add a dimension that gives quality and character to a photo. All sprouts from right in front of a subject or scene to about 1.5 meters above the ground. Try varying your point of view or angle. Levanto down lower, upper or only use their feet to move a little to the left or right. Small changes often result in major improvements so always remember their position in relation to its subject matter.

These are a few basic concepts as your learn digital photography. If you apply them every time you shoot an image I can guarantee that you will have great pictures always. It just means that you will shoot less but have better results. Happy shooting!
