Learn Digital Photography – wedding photography tips Top seven

1. check your location

If you don't plan to do so before the big day had lost the battle already. A good photographer will scout the location of the marriage before the effective date to get a feel for the definition of marriage. You need to get an idea of where to position yourself for all shots of the ceremony and reception, as well as the formal shots. Sometimes you can even get the couple arrive and try some test shots. Visit the site at the same time of day as the marriage as this knowledge of your location will help with planning shots in terms of lighting conditions.

2. Create a list of shots

Knowing where and how the shots will be taken of the couple's point of view is essential for a successful shot. Then write down from beginning to end, where each set of shots will be taken. Part of the work that is being paid for is to offer ideas for great photos. Don't be afraid to make suggestions or tell the couple that their ideas may not work. Key here is to have confidence in their photographic skills. After all a marriage uses the same techniques and principles for any shot of good photography.

3. planning is essential

Good preparation is fundamental to a filming of marriage. Go through each item in the kit, you will need advance. Verify that the batteries are full and memory cards were formatted and are working on. Run some test shots on each card. In case of bad weather or illumination have an alternative location ready to offer the couple. Better yet, discuss this previously with them. Make sure you have a wedding program/itinerary and add notes to it. Ask if you can watch the test and take some pictures for the last album. This gives the opportunity to find the best positions to shoot, especially within the Church or location. Knowledge is power in situations like this.

4. be creative

A unique style will always have a good deal and there is no better place to show your ability than a place wedding. Show your confidence and be bold and decisive, while at the same time allowing suggestions of your par. If you are concerned with your creativity, then go and buy magazines and books of marriage and seek ideas you can use or improve. Don't be afraid to experiment with angles, views and positions. With digital photography, you are able to display your creativity immediately so if you have a laptop, view a selection of his best pictures at the reception. This is great for new business and above all allows you to show your work.

5. Use a wizard whenever possible

This person can be a back-up photographer or just someone who knows about photography and who can pass it lenses and equipment and help change the batteries and memory cards. You will find an invaluable assistant on When the pressure is on you need that extra pair of hands. Be prepared to pay a reasonable price for your help.

6. Use a second camera

If you're going to be successful in all you need to buy, rent, beg or borrow a second camera. You should have it with a second lens. A camera with a wide angle and the other with a zoom say 70-200, which is what I use. He is of good quality and has sharp images. Do not use something cheap. Hire a little his second quality lens.

7. Shoot in raw

All DSLRs have a RAW shooting configuration. The reason that you shoot in RAW is because it covers a multitude of sins. Is more time consuming with post production, but it can save your life. There are complicated configurations that you need to be constantly vigilant in marriages especially shooting indoors and outdoors with often a lot of white. In post production you you will be able to handle their exposure, ISO, and other settings with more latitude if you shoot in RAW.

These are my seven tips. But does not stop here. Try to learn as much as possible about wedding photography. Is a photographic trip in a niche market with so much to learn about. Clear the key is to experiment and practice until it comes naturally.
